Hazel Clarke brings over 20 years of experience as a dance educator and choreographer throughout the South Bay. An instructor and trainer at the esteemed School of Dance and Music for 14 years, Hazel also served 5 years as Education Director of TADA Stages performing arts studio and 12 years as a youth director for Puttin’ On Productions theater company in Manhattan Beach, CA. Director of a professional contemporary dance company, Kairos Dance Co in Los Angeles, Hazel’s philosophy of bringing exemplary dance training in a safe and nurturing environment resonates throughout all of her classes.
As a dance instructor, Miss Clarke currently works as a private dance coach to prepare young students for the rigorous college dance and musical theater audition process, offers private lessons to students of all ages, and teaches contemporary dance classes at San Pedro Ballet School, where she directs her youth company, San Pedro Dance Collective.
Kairos Dance Company is a non-profit 501c(3) that uses dance as a platform to bring about social awareness.
