Hazel brings over 20 years of experience as both a dance educator and a choreographer throughout the South Bay. An instructor and trainer at the School of Dance and Music for 14 years, Hazel also served 5 years as Education Director of TADA Stages performing arts studio and 12 years as a youth director for Puttin’ On Productions theater company in Manhattan Beach, CA. Director of a professional contemporary dance company, Kairos Dance Co (Los Angeles). Miss Clarke currently works as a private dance coach to prepare young students for the rigorous college dance and musical theater audition process, offers private lessons to students of all ages, and teaches master contemporary dance classes in the South Bay.
Hazel has choreographed for a number of special events, including birthday parties, Bar and Bat Mitzfahs, Quinciñeras, Weddings, Youth Talent Shows, and more. Hazel is skilled in an array of dance genres including: Theater, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary, and Ballroom. The added skill she possesses of music editing makes the client experience easy and stress-free - so all they get to focus on is the dancing. In addition, Hazel has extensive experience working with large groups, (Ninety 5th Graders awards her extra brownie points!) With her attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and ability to work with all dance levels and age groups, her clients have had fun and positive experiences that fully enhanced their special event.

Kairos Dance Company is a non-profit 501c(3) that uses dance as a platform to bring about social awareness.
